Announcement: update Workspace 365 v2.28.0

The release of Workspace 365 v2.28.0 will be deployed on 29-01-2016 between 1:00 AM and 2:00 AM Central European Time.

The following will be implemented when this version goes live:

  • The language used for the "Date Created" and "Date Modified" columns in the Folders & Files App will now be identical to the language set in Workspace 365
  • Added automatic focus on the first field of a Business App record when having opened the record in Workspace 365
  • Added the option to open or create a Business app record in a new browser tab, which can be found in the upper action bar when having opened a Business App overview
  • Added a clear error notification when trying to send an email using a mailbox for which the user does not have send permissions

  • Fixed an issue which resulted in deletion of shared app group permissions after removing users from Workspace 365
  • Fixed the "Open Calendar" link when having opened an Outlook meeting invitation in the Workspace 365 Email App, which now will result in opening the Office 365 calendar if you click this link
  • Fixed an issue with stacking error messages & long busy indicators in the change password popup window while clicking/holding the Enter button

  • Improved the AFAS import functionality in Workspace 365, which now will continue importing records after a failed import of users (due to not having an ID or email address column value). Also, the Administrator will now receive emails with specific information if the import failed because of AFAS data restrictions
  • When logged into the Workspace via Single Sign-On and clicking the Calendar or People App, this will now result in correctly opening and logging in to the Office 365 App which was selected (using a new browser window)
  • If a user had mailbox permissions which are revoked later on, the Email App will remain stable and not crash when trying to open the Email app afterwards
  • Improved the Citrix App authentication in Workspace 365 so that no username and password will have to be used within the App (authentication will now be done using NetScaler)
  • Older document types (.doc/.xls/.ppt) will now be downloaded when clicked upon in the Folders & Files App, making sure no redirection to SharePoint occurs
  • Improved clarification of folder & file sharing possibilities when having selected folders or files in the Documents App (Invite User option always appears but when trying to use it without correct permissions, a clear notification will be shown)
  • Further improvements in loading time of the Folders & Files App when opened in Workspace 365
  • Improvements in several server request procedures after using Workspace 365 functionalities, which improves connection/loading speed within the product
