We've just successfully updated Workspace 365 towards version 3.4.0. The announced improvements are now live. The release notes of this update can be reviewed here:

 

Additions

  • The To-Do live tile will now automatically show all your to-do lists. You can set a default To-Do list in the live tile settings.
  • We created a How-to video centre and app, to help first-time users to learn the basics of their new workspace. The videos are ‘brandless’ to support our white label partners and to make sure people can recognise their own workspace. The content of the tile automatically adapts to the user’s permissions and what’s available to them in the workspace.

Fixes

  • We are now stricter in accepting environment names from the URL. Previously, we would see “my-workspace" the same as “myworkspace", though it was never intended to work this way. We now see them as two separate environment names. We also improved the error page in these scenarios.

Improvements

  • Public RSS Feed URLs now support user placeholders, allowing you to integrate personalised RSS feeds. Example: https://rss.feed.com?userSuggestion={{@CurrentUser.Email}}. Please note that this should NOT be used as a form of authentication.
  • In the past, we switched from using the native checkbox styling to a uniform styling that’s independent from the browser. We have now applied similar changes to the radio button. So, no matter what browser you are using, the styling will be identical.

Technical items

  • Minor improvements to the Business App grids.
  • We removed the deprecated configuration settings "UseUserLicenses" and "UseEmptyEnvironments", which were deprecated in release 2.50. We have removed all the UI elements and provisioning API end points associated with these settings.
  • We made some changes to the Document Background Service as preparation for future work where we want to improve the utilisation of the server resources more efficiently.
