Kiosk mode & Guest users
Kiosk mode is great for employees who only use their workspace as an extension of their work. Like shop workers or paramedics. They only need a few applications for specific tasks, so they can work in a completely online workspace and don’t need anything else.
When working with external parties, it can be useful when they have easy access to certain information, applications and shared documents. That is why we now allow you to give external users access to the workspace with an Azure Guest user account. This way, they can also stay up-to-date on information, processes and changes and work in the same documents, even at the same time, just like you do with your colleagues. This way, you simplify working with external parties. For example, when two organisations work on a joint project or an interim manager joins an organisation temporarily, the guest user feature is a good tool to use.
