Mark or show (un)read email

Introduction

You can choose to show your most recent read emails in the email live tile, in addition to your unread emails. This will enable you to quickly navigate to your most recent emails and the information they contain, even if you’ve already opened them. It's also possible enable or disable the possibility to automatically mark emails as read. In this article, we explain how. 

 

Show (un)read email

  • To show (un)read emails from the live tile, follow the steps below.

  • Go to your personal space and edit the email tile. 
  • Listed under Content you can choose between:
    • Only show unread email messages.
    • Show read and unread email messages.

We always show a maximum of 10 items in the email live tile.

 

Automatically mark emails as read

To set the option to automatically mark emails as read, go to:

  • The Email app.
  • Click on the eye-icon: Manage mailboxes.

  • Click on the three dots.
  • For the selected mailbox, you can now choose to enable or disable the option to automatically mark emails as read.
