Guest account cannot be imported / given access to the portal
If a guest account is created in Azure AD it is not possible to import this account. In this way no login can be assigned to this guest user. A customer has asked us for this functionality, if this was possible.
The syntax of a guest account in Azure AD is <first part of email address>_<domain name of email address>#EXT#@<office365 name>.onmicrosoft.com.
When trying to import an error message states: email address is invalid, first and last name are required fields.
