Your feedback is shaping the future of Workspace 365! With 80% of this release driven by customer requests, we’re making it easier than ever to stay engaged, find information quickly, and create a more accessible digital workplace.
Document app: instantly find shared files via Shared with me
Finding shared documents is now easier. With our enhanced SharePoint integration, the new “Shared with Me” section in the Document App provides a clear, organised view of documents that have been shared with you by others. Instead of manually searching through folders or emails, users can quickly access these files in one place.
Small but impactful improvements
Enhanced calendar card
Managing schedules is now more efficient. The updated Calendar Card displays all key details in one view, reducing the need for extra clicks. Events, times, and important notes are immediately visible, helping users stay organised and plan their day with ease.
Customisable colour contrast - A more accessible experience
To improve readability and inclusivity, admins can now adjust colour contrast settings based on accessibility best practices, allowing organisations to create a more user-friendly experience with better visibility for all employees.
These enhancements are part of our ongoing commitment to accessibility and compliance. As we continue working towards full alignment with the European Accessibility Act, which comes into force on 28 June 2025, we are taking proactive steps to make Workspace 365 more inclusive for all users.
Making your digital workplace simpler and smarter
We know that small improvements can make a big difference in your daily workflow. This release is all about making things easier, whether it’s instantly finding shared files, or enjoying a smoother, more accessible experience. Everything is designed to help you work smarter with less effort, so you can focus on what really matters.

Total list of all release notes
The release of Workspace 365 v4.21.0 will be deployed on 13-02-2024 between 22:00 and 00:00 Central European Time. The following will be implemented when this version goes live:
Fixes
When you downloaded a file (e.g., a document in the Documents app) with a space in the name on macOS, it would be persisted on disk with "%20".
Cards in the Calendar app and list items in the Calendar live tile didn’t show the locations of an event.
Improvements
For most configurations, the "Shared with me" data in the Documents app should more accurately reflect the data in SharePoint.
The time it takes to open the Like button menu on the announcement details page has been adjusted. A small delay is added when opening the menu, while the delay in the disappearance of the menu is shortened.
The design of the calendar cards in the Calendar app is updated. In the new design, only the text that fully fits within the card is displayed, ensuring that the last visible line is no longer vertically clipped. The font size of event titles has been slightly reduced. For smaller cards that can accommodate just one line of text, the location appears on the same line after the title. Appointment times are no longer displayed on the cards.
In the branding settings, we now calculate the contrast ratio of the selected primary colour for the light theme based on WCAG (Level AA) standards. If the chosen colour doesn't provide sufficient contrast against the background colors in the product, a warning message will appear, indicating that the colour doesn't meet accessibility standards and suggesting an alternative colour. Users can save the selected primary colour for the light theme, even if it doesn't meet the standards. A success message will be displayed if the colour passes the contrast requirements.
