Workspace 365 - Error 500 (RESOLVED)

This morning there were issues with error 500 in certain cases. These issues are now resolved, see below. If you are still experiencing issues, clear the browser cache.

Last night Microsoft released a new version of .Net outside of the monthly release cycle. We automatically install .Net updates on our servers in accordance with Microsoft's best practices guidelines. For applications running in IIS, the installation of a .Net update triggers an application pool recycle to reload all .Net DLLs. Unfortunately this time the recycle didn't work as expected on some of our webservers, leaving them in a partially dysfunctional state. The issue was resolved after a manual application pool recycle on all affected servers. In the coming weeks we will be investigating possible solutions for this issue.
