Workspace temporarily down (error 500)


Workspace is experiencing performance issues or is temporarily down. We're looking into a solution and will update this article if we have more information. 

Update 19-01-2023 at 09.59 (CEST). Root cause: Microsoft announced that a power event impacted a subset of storage racks in one of the Availability Zones in the West Europe region. For more information, go to: Azure status history.

Update 16-01-2023 at 12.17 (CEST). We looked into the cause of the problem and found a definitive solution.

Update 16-01-2023 at 11:00 (CEST). After resolving the issue, some Workspace environments may still be down. We are monitoring the situation. If you experience any issues with a Workspace environment, please contact support.
