Deprecation v3.60: setting "PropagateUserChangesToActiveDirectory"
Deprecation v3.60: setting "PropagateUserChangesToActiveDirectory"
Updated over a week ago

When you make manual user changes in Workspace (e.g. changing a user's name, department, job title, etc.), Workspace tries to update/overwrite these values in Microsoft 365. This could result in the error "error occurred during operation", and we consider this as unwanted behavior.

This is why we had advised to disable the setting "PropagateUserChangesToActiveDirectory" in release v3.50. We already have it disabled for all hosted workspace environments.

In the v3.60 release, this setting will be permanently removed. If you did not yet disable this setting in release v3.50, it is most likely that you will encounter problems with manual user changes from v3.60.
