Update for self-hosted partners: migrate to .Net Core 6 from Workspace release V3.55.0
Update for self-hosted partners: migrate to .Net Core 6 from Workspace release V3.55.0
Updated over a week ago

Hi,
โ€‹

As previously announced in Upcoming hosting requirement changes for self-hosted partners, we mentioned the migration from .NET Full Framework 4.7.2 to .NET (Core) 6.0. The "WebApp" is the final piece in this migration process and will replace the "Workspace365" package.

We have worked very hard to make sure this new version of the application works exactly the same as the previous one. After extensive testing we have already migrated our entire hosted platform to the .NET Core 6.0 version. It has proven to be very stable and far more efficient than the .NET Full Framework 4.7.2 version. This is why we are now confident to release this new version to our self-hosted partners.

Starting from V3.55.0, we will distribute both packages ("Workspace365" and "WebApp") for the duration of 3 releases total (i.e. the last release which will include the "Workspace365" package is 3.57.0). You are not obligated to migrate to .Net Core 6 immediately starting from V3.55.0, but you are required to migrate to .Net Core 6 before the release of Workspace V.3.58.0.

For further instructions, please read the article: How to migrate Workspace 365 from .NET Framework 4.7.2 to .NET (Core) 6.0
