Release notes Workspace 365 v4.14.0
Updated over a week ago

The release of Workspace 365 v4.14.0 has been deployed on 29-08-2024 between 22:00 and 00:00 Central European Time. The following has been implemented in this version:

Additions

  • A new permission, named "Upload and manage app icons", has been introduced. This permission can be configured in the default settings, which apply to all users or per user group.

Fixes

  • Due to a regression from the previous release, it was not possible to upload files larger than 10 MB to SharePoint.

  • The time input of the date picker would not show the configured time on tablets and mobile.

  • The resulting draft would have an incorrect layout when responding to a plain text email.

  • Wide tables in hub items were being truncated. You can now use a horizontal scrollbar.

  • On the licensing page, the "Export all to CSV" didn't work in the Android mobile app.

  • An error used to happen when a user has a notification of a shared file, but the user who shared it no longer exists in Workspace.

Improvements

  • Pinned items that are (being) archived will now automatically be unpinned.

  • The interface for configuring (group) permissions has been enhanced for simplicity. The "Group permissions" setting has been renamed to "Default permissions", and all default permissions can now be configured from this single page. It is easier to see which permissions have been set or to make changes. In addition, all permissions have gotten a description.

  • We have modernised the look and feel of the tabs component throughout the product.

Mobile app

  • To simplify the onboarding process in our mobile app, we have implemented two additional activation methods. In addition to the QR code, you can now activate the app with your email address. (This requires the admin to do some additional configuration; see the support article link below.) If this doesn't work, a user can manually fill in the full environment URL.
