Release notes Workspace 365 v4.15.0
Updated over a week ago

Hi,

The release of Workspace 365 v4.15.0 has been deployed on 19-09-2024. Here are the release notes for this version:

Additions

  • A video thumbnail is shown in Hub cards, search items, and live tile items if the cover media of an article contains a YouTube or Vimeo video.

  • The web content tiles support more tile sizes. An option named “Custom size” has been added to the context menu, where users can select a custom width and height for the tile. Each setting contains 16 options, ranging from "2" to "17.”

  • The following default permissions are added:

    • Create and manage all spaces: This allows access to create/edit/delete spaces and groups for spaces.

    • Manage all apps in the app store: This allows access to edit/disable/delete all apps in the app store.

    • Manage all shared tile groups: This allows access to edit and delete all shared tile groups.

    • Manage billing, modules, and licenses permission: This allows access to edit billing information and set modules and licenses.

Fixes

  • Inserting a one-cell table in the rich text editor resulted in an error.

  • The validation text below the Gateway URL field remained visible after leaving the edit mode in the Clientless RDP settings.

  • Linked document names were not ellipsed in the Hub cards in mobile mode.

  • When you would add an image to a section in the Hub item composer, the image didn’t look selected, and the Edit and Copy options were missing in the context menu.

  • If an environment didn’t have any document integration configured, clicking an Office app (e.g., Word) did not provide any feedback to the user and only resulted in console errors.

Improvements

  • The styling of the Pager component has been modernised. The buttons now contain a border, and the shadow has been removed. Furthermore, the new disabled styling we use in the product has been applied to the component.

  • The floating action button that opens the Create an item menu is only shown on the tile spaces. Previously, this button was also visible on other pages (e.g., settings page). This confused the users because they thought the button was related to the specific page.

  • The gradient in the Hub cards has been adjusted to make the item title and other details more readable.

  • In the following locations, the actionbar was removed: The Audit logging page, Analytics page, and recipient dialog.
