🚨 Pre Release notes Workspace 365 v4.26.0

Updated yesterday

Due to Ascension Day, this release will go live on 5 June, so a week later than usual.

In this release, we’ve brought even more simplicity to your digital workplace with smarter access control, better billing options, and lots of small but powerful improvements.

Conditional Access for web content apps

Customise access conditions based on devices, networks, browsers, and operating systems with Conditional Access. Ensure that only authorised individuals have access to sensitive information and applications.

You can now apply the same Conditional Access settings you use for other apps (like Shortcuts) to your Web content apps. Maintenance mode is also supported.

What does it mean?

  • Keep access to content controlled and consistent.

  • Apply the same rules to more apps.

  • A uniform approach across the platform.

Billing updates

We’ve expanded the information you can provide when setting up a customer profile. This helps us, and you, to understand and support your customers even better.

What does it mean?

  • Renamed and updated customer type fields

  • Option to select a sub-industry

  • Company size by number of employees

  • Choose between ‘Demo’ or ‘Not for resale’ for Environment type.

Small, but impactful

  • More data when spotlighting a Hub item (see screenshot below)

  • Support for YouTube Shorts

  • Events: Remove attendees counter when attendees are disabled

  • Hub sidebar auto expand functionality

  • The category in the Hub sidebar wasn’t always visible

  • Show announcement and event pop-up if user doesn't follow category

  • Improve the UX of the MultiComboBox in case an error occurs during search

  • Improvements for creating/editing a hub category

  • Name is mandatory

  • Small changes to dialog headers

Total list of all releases

The release of Workspace 365 v4.26.0 will be deployed on 05-06-2025 between 22:00 and 00:00 Central European Time. The following will be implemented when this version goes live:

Additions

  • It's possible to set conditional access and maintenance modes for web content apps. For conditional access, you can choose to either display a greyed-out tile and space with an alert when clicked if access is restricted or hide them entirely. When the web content app is in maintenance mode, the tile and the space appear disabled, and an alert is provided upon clicking.

  • YouTube Shorts are supported in the YouTube tile and the "Add video" option within the Hub composer.

Fixes

  • The tile footer partially hid the Liquit tile content.

  • On several management pages (e.g., Global search settings), disabled list items could be dragged on touch devices.

  • A horizontal scrollbar appeared in the "Steps" tab of an integration in the Integration builder, even when all elements fit within the page.

  • A configured branding image could be deleted if, during an update, a temporary issue prevented the new image from being saved.

  • Editing a user or user group with a non-existent ID resulted in a 500 error, whereas it should return a 404 error.

  • Lasso selection only worked for the first few items in a table view.

  • On the "User requests" page, when no search results were found, the message displayed was "No request yet" instead of "No search results."

  • After deleting a knowledge base category, clicking the "Overview" in the breadcrumbs would display the "No knowledge articles yet" page.

  • Validation did not work correctly in the Manage spaces sidebar.

  • Attending a past event via an API request incorrectly returned the error as a 200 status instead of the expected 403 status.

  • If you selected the spotlight layout and didn't complete the item selection, then switched to a different layout, you could still not save the Edit Hub tile settings due to the previous error.

  • The link at the bottom of an opened knowledge base category in The Hub live tile led to the Overview page.

Improvements

  • The "Edit category" and "Edit template" dialogs now display the item’s name in the dialog header. Additionally, the "Name" field in the "Edit category" dialog is now visually required ("*").

  • When participation in the Hub event is disabled, the attendees' counter is hidden.

  • If items can't be retrieved for the "Attendees" and "Location" fields in the calendar appointment composer, a more informative error display is shown in the dropdown. Additionally, you can still select a custom location if items can't be retrieved.

  • The spotlight item selection dropdown in the Edit Hub tile sidebar now includes thumbnails, publication or start dates, authors, and categories.

  • When selecting a category in The Hub content, it automatically expands all groups leading to the category so that it becomes visible and is highlighted as active in the sidebar.

  • The billing page in the product has undergone several changes:

  • The page title and corresponding sidebar item are now labelled "Company information".

  • In the "Customer Type" field:

  • The field is renamed to "Company type"

  • The Business option has been renamed to Commercial.

  • The Distributor option has been removed, and any existing selections have been migrated to Commercial.

  • In the "Industry field":

  • New options have been added, and some existing option names have been updated.

  • If Government, Education, Healthcare, or Financial Services is selected, an additional dropdown labelled "Subindustry(ies)" will appear.

  • If Other is selected, a free-text input field labelled "Enter other industry" will appear.

  • A new dropdown field labelled "Company employee size" allows admins to select the number of employees in the organisation.

  • A new setting named "Environment type" allows admins to specify the type of environment: Default, Demo, or Not for resale.

  • Direct pop-ups for Hub announcements and events are shown to users even if they don't follow the category.
