Clientless RDP version 1.5

We are happy to announce the release of version 1.5 of our Clientless RDP solution. This release includes the following changes:

  • Updated components to apply multiple security fixes and security improvements

  • Fixed possible issues with RDP audio input

  • Improved custom Dutch translation

  • Optional support for lossless graphics compression

  • Version tag on the login screen

Note: Our application window switch button (which offers remote alt-tab functionality) no longer supports Windows Server 2012 R2. We only support switching between open application windows with the switch button when connecting to servers running Windows Server 2016 and higher.

Aside from this, there is no impact on your end-users after the upgrade. If you are using a hosted Clientless RDP gateway provided by Workspace 365, your gateway will be upgraded by our Operations team. During this upgrade your gateway will be temporarily unavailable. The expected downtime will be less than 10 minutes. Your upgrade will take place in one of the following maintenance windows:

  • Thursday the 29th of February between 19:00 and 22:00

  • Thursday the 7th of March between 19:00 and 22:00

If you have any questions, feel free to submit a ticket in our Support Portal. If you are running a Clientless RDP gateway in your own network, you can also submit a ticket in our Support Portal to request an upgrade. Our Operations team will be open to upgrade appointments starting from week 11.
